When I watched the weather forecast on Tuesday, I started to feel a bit nervous and anxious.
- The weatherman said we were expecting snow on Saturday and it was a large amount.
I decided it was a good time to contact the HVAC business for a tune-up on my furnace. I always try to have a tune-up performed on the furnace before the first cold snap of the season. The tune up is a great service provided by the heating and AC repair company. During the tune up, the service professional checks all of the mechanical and electrical components of the system. If there is any slight problem at all, the service technician will be able to catch it right away. I called the service company on Tuesday and they did not have any available appointments until Friday. The only thing they had was during the day, but I was supposed to work. I asked my sister to hang out at my house so she could be there when the HVAC technician arrived. My sister agreed and happily stayed at the house while I went to work. When the HVAC technician arrived to complete the tune-up, my sister was surprised to see a guy that she remembered from high school. My sister told me they had several minutes to talk and they made an appointment to get together soon for lunch. My sister is currently single, but maybe this guy will change that. I know my sister had a crush on the guy when they went to high school together.
