Sandy’s sisters were planning a surprise baby shower for her and one of them got a hall in their hotel for an event. Before the day of the baby shower, the sisters went to check the hall and felt it was frigid. They asked the person who was in charge of the service of the hotel to check what was wrong with the central heater. The guy could not come up with a clear answer so the sisters asked him when was the last time they had a heating specialist do a furnace/heater tune-up on the electric furnace. When he went through his paperwork from the whole-lake house heating corporation, he saw that it was over three years ago when the previous manager was in office. The sisters didn’t like this so they insisted he call the local repair provider. Just before noon a heating specialist arrived and set to work. He also requested the hotel manager check out zone control systems that would optimize and save energy. That way, when the hall was not in use it would be possible to turn off the radiant floor heating through a digital temperature control. The sisters were so impressed by his professionalism and willingness to help them avoid such concerns in the future that they asked him for his corporation card so that they’d contact him to check out their temperature control idea which had started to provide them the wrong readings.
