When I bought the home while in winter, I didn’t see that the central a/c wasn’t turning on at all

After getting evicted from my previous home for reasons that were not my fault, I was in immediate need of purchasing a home. I hastily began calling property owners and realtor groups to find a home that I could purchase, considering I had saved enough currency and raised my credit score. I found a home in my budget that I thought was decent, and I made the purchase immediately. I didn’t have time to get anything checked, including the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C units. The gas furnace looked newer and was laboring when I got there, and I was also content that the home had a central a/c. I didn’t believe much of it, because it was in the middle of winter, and there was no need to turn on the a/c! Now that I am a few weeks into my purchase, I regret not waiting a few minutes to test the a/c. The central a/c that was at my apartment doesn’t work, and it hasn’t worked in a long time. The realtor forgot to mention that when I was purchasing my house, and she knew that I wasn’t going to have an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional inspect it. Now, after calling an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional and having them inspect my central a/c, they told myself and others that it was a repair that should have been done years ago, and it would be cheaper in the long run to purchase a up-to-date central a/c. I was furious because I believed that the realtor overcharged me! I am going to have to live with window a/cs for now.
