I have always been one to love summer, but I am beyond excited this year.
Over the winter, we renovated our entire HVAC system. We upgraded the furnace and added a central air conditioning system. In addition, we got brand new ductwork. We even got a smart thermostat! I have thoroughly enjoyed the new heating system, however we have not had a chance to use the central air conditioning yet. Up until this point, we relied on a few window air conditioning units to get us through the warm seasons. While they kept us cool enough to get by, the house was never very comfortable in the summer. I never wanted to host people in our home during the summer because I was worried it was too hot and stuffy. Now, we finally have central air conditioning and I cannot wait to try it out! While it’s still early in spring, we have one day coming up this week that is predicted to be warmer than usual. I might just have to turn on the air conditioning a little early because I am simply too eager to wait any longer! I think having central air conditioning will give me the confidence to host more friends during the summer. I also will be able to watch a movie under a blanket and be comfortable and cool. I am really looking forward to this new HVAC upgrade.
