I simply cannot wait for the weather to warm up! I am looking forward to getting outside more often.

I have a hammock that I put up in the backyard and I spend hours reading out there. While I enjoy the warm weather for a lot of reasons, the main reason I am so anxious for the warm weather is that I have been suffering from dry skin all winter! My hands are so dry that my skin cracks. I apply lotion constantly, but nothing makes a difference. When I told my friends about my dry skin, they thought it could be due to my heating system. I looked into it and learned that it can be helpful to put a humidifier in your home to counter dry heat. I immediately purchased a humidifier that attached directly onto my furnace. Even with the humidifier, I still suffered from dry skin. I couldn’t believe my luck. I guess the one good thing is that the humidifier doubles as a dehumidifier, so I can use it when I switch to the air conditioning as well. Apparently, it will make the house feel cooler and I can use less energy, as well. The reasons just keep piling on for why I simply cannot wait to get this cool weather behind me.
