When our husband Mike plus I remodeled our family room, both of us bought the most modern furniture we could.
- We had used the same family room furniture I had from the time I was a teenager, plus it was almost forty years old.
Although some folks would say the furniture was antique, it was shabby plus old. We started looking around for modern family room furniture for the house. Mike found some honestly lovely family room furniture that I could see in our house. The price wasn’t that far out from the price both of us were thinking both of us would have to pay for a bed, armoire, chest, plus two new evening stands. The only thing I wanted to add to our family room was a laying chair. Mike and I had a small fireplace in our family room, plus I thought it would be cozy to have either a new loveseat or more than one chair laying in front of the fireplace. I spied an appealing tan leather chair that I thought would look wonderful in our family room. Mike looked at the leather chair, then looked back at me. He asked if I looked at the price of the leather chair? I had not, however I did not think it would be as extravagant as Mike was making it out to be. Unfortunately, the leather chair was more extravagant than I had thought it would ever be. I asked if they had an upholstered loveseat that would go well with our more modern family room suit, plus that was within our price range. They showed us some pretty little loveseats that looked like the furniture at the turn-of-the-century, plus Mike bought it for me.
