My partner and I met 5 years ago.
She was friends with one of our sisters and I saw her at a party, then we talked for a few minutes and then she left.
I did not see her again for a couple of months. When I ran into her a second time, I decided to get her phone number. I called her a few mornings later and we got together for tea and pastries. I told her that I worked as a licensed residential electrical worker. She told me that her dad was an electrician too, he died about 10 years ago and he was an awesome person. She thought it was cool that I was an electrician too. She knew a lot about electric services and that was easily intriguing to me, then most of our wifeys in the past do not think anything at all about what I do and it makes it hard to talk about our afternoons. This girl knew the difference between a watt and an amp. We dated for 2 years before I asked her to marry me and we have been married since then, on our wedding afternoon, our partner gave me the pocket watch that her father carried the whole time that she was toiling as a residential electrical company. I was working outside on a power pole yesterday and I had the watch in our pocket. I got home at the end of the afternoon and realized that I had a hole in that pocket and the watch was gone. I was out in the woods most of the afternoon and I will never be able to find it again unless I hire someone with a metal detector.
