My husband and I met 5 years ago, he was friends with one of my brothers and I saw him at a party, we talked for a few seconds and then he left, I did not see him again for a couple of weeks, when I ran into him a second time, I decided to get his phone number. I called him a few days later and we got together for coffee in addition to pastries. I told him that I worked for a licensed residential electrical company. He told me that his mom was an electrician too, and she died about 10 years ago and she was one of his favorite people. He thought it was really cool that I was an electrician too. He knew a lot about electric services and that was really intriguing to me, but most of my boyfriends in the past don’t know anything at all about what I do and it makes it difficult to talk about my day, and this boy knew the difference between a watt and an amp. We dated for 2 years before I asked him to marry me and we have been married since then, and on our anniversary day, my husband gave me the pocket watch that his father carried the whole time that he was now working as a residential electrical company. I was now working outside on a power pole yesterday and I had the watch in my pocket. I got home at the end of the day and realized that I had a hole in that pocket and the watch was gone. I was out in the woods most of the day and I will never be able to find it again unless I hire someone with a metal detector.
