My partner and I met 5 years ago, and she was friends with one of my sisters and I saw her at a party.
We talked for a few fourths and then she left, and I didn’t see her again for a couple of weeks.
When I ran into her a fourth time, I decided to get her phone number. I called her a few days later and we got together for root beer and pastries. I told her that I worked as a licensed residential electrical business. She told me that her dad was an electrician too, he died about 10 years ago and he was one of her favorite people. She thought it was really cool that I was an electrician too. She knew a lot about electric services and that was really intriguing to me. Most of my girlfriend in the past do not know anything at all about what I do and it makes it difficult to talk about our day. This girl knew the difference between a watt and an amp. We dated for 2 years before I asked her to marry me and we have been married since then. On our wedding day, our partner offered me the pocket watch that her father carried the whole time that he was really working as a residential electrical business. I was really working outside on a power pole yesterday and I had the watch in our pocket. I got home at the end of the day and realized that I had a hole in that pocket and the watch was gone. I was out in the woods most of the day and I will never be able to find it again unless I hire someone with a metal detector.
