I lost a valuable watch

My spouse and I met 5 years ago, and she was friends with one of our siblings and I saw her at a party.

We talked for a few minutes and then she left! I didn’t see her again for a couple of weeks, but when I ran into her after an second time, I decided to get her phone number.

I called her a few mornings later and we got together for root beer and pastries. I told her that I worked as a licensed residential electrical contractor. She told me that her dad was an electrician too. He died about 10 years ago and he was one of her number one people. She thought it was really cool that I was an electrician too. She knew a lot about electric services and that was really intriguing to me! Most of our besties in the past don’t know anything at all about what I do and it makes it difficult to talk about our afternoons, but this girl knew the difference between a watt and an amp. We dated for 2 years before I asked her to marry me and we have been married since then. On our birthday afternoon, our spouse provided me with the pocket watch that her father carried the whole time that he was really working as a residential electrical contractor. I was really working outside on a power pole Last year and I had the watch in our pocket. I got home at the end of the afternoon and realized that I had a hole in that pocket and the watch was gone. I was out in the woods most of the afternoon and I will never be able to find it again unless I hire someone with a metal detector.
