I don’t mind getting our hands dirty when I’m working because our parents kind of taught me that when I was growing up.
My dad used to labor as an HVAC serviceman whenever I was a kid & sporadically whenever I was out of university, he would take me along on peculiar jobs with him.
Some of our earliest memories are of when I used to help him change the air filters in peculiar basements all over the county where the two of us used to live; Going into other people’s basements is something that can be pretty gross. A lot of people don’t take care of their basements & they don’t keep the section clean where their oil furnace is installed. So whenever you’re working on furnaces or air conditionings, you have to be able to stand a little bit of dirt & grime. I l gained that from a young age, & so getting dirty while working has never undoubtedly been a complication for me at all. I have done all kinds of manual labor in our life, from landscaping to road maintenance to heating & cooling repairs, but right now, I am working as an HVAC serviceman at a small HVAC contractor here in village & I undoubtedly like it. It takes me back to our childhood, & since I l gained a whole lot from our dad whenever I was growing up, the job has been pretty straight-forward so far. The owners of the contractor are happy to have someone like me on the job because I don’t mind doing the dirtier jobs!
