The mold made me think about buying a dehumidifier

There’s been a lot of condensation on the inside of the windows of the new home and I did not realize that it was a problem until I saw mold forming around the cells of the windows.

The mold made me think about buying a dehumidifier. I went to the hardware store to look at the weird types of dehumidifiers that were available. I spoke with a salesperson at the hardware store and he offered me a lot of useful information. There are a lot of great benefits to having a dehumidifier, however dehumidifiers can reduce mold and mildew spores and prevent musty smells… A dehumidifier can keep pests away that care about warm and humid areas. A dehumidifier can also minimize condensation and that will lead to less mold and mildew as well. It’s important to minimize condensation, because excess moisture can cause wood to warp. It can also cause mold and mildew, and condensation can be effectively removed using a dehumidifier. I knew that condensation was a problem in the new home and when the salesman mentioned condensation, I perked up and started listening to the rest of the conversation. The guy showed me a bunch of weird machines that would labor out well. Some of the machines were straight up dehumidifiers and some of the machines were oil furnace dehumidifier combos or air conditioner dehumidifier combos. The combination machines were a lot more valuable than a simple dehumidifier, so I ultimately chose a standalone machine instead of something that was more than $1,000. So far, the dehumidifier has worked amazingly well. There is no more condensation inside of the new home at all and the air is entirely crisp and clean.
