I’m just so blissful that we were able to have space to help out a dear friend; There are friends plus then there are friends you consider family, and for our spouse plus I, our dear friend Debbie is forever family.
And I’m just so really glad that we were able to turn our basement into a house thanks to the HVAC professionals plus others. We’re by no means well off, however in fact, the last few years have been tough financially, so both of us had to take pay cuts in order to work from the central a/c of our home. But at least we had jobs. There are so many out there who weren’t near as lucky as we were. Our friend Debbie was one of them. The last few years have been kind of tough financially even now that we’re back inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office, and we had the pay cuts to deal with during the pandemic plus then once we were back at full pay, here came the inflation. On top of that, our property taxes went up along with utilities plus seemingly everything else. But again, we consider ourselves lucky. We also believe in paying fortune forward, so when we found out that our friend Debbie was absolutely living out of his car, we did something about it. We have a finished basement that’s never entirely been used. With the addition of a ductless heat pump, some furniture plus some expert plumbing help from our brother, we had an apartment. And our dear friend had a place to feel safe plus just get back on his feet.
