I called to have an HvAC technician come to my home and do the annual service on my furnace.
I have been using the same HVAC company for the last several years, but this new technician has me doubting if I should stay with them.
I’m not saying that he didn’t know his job, because he probably did. I just couldn’t get over the attitude of this technician. From the moment he walked in the door, he was on his phone and constantly complaining. The more I heard, the sooner I realized he was complaining about the HVAC company and his boss. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was, but I was getting very upset. I heard him on his phone cursing and yelling at whoever was on the other end. He wouldn’t even let me interrupt him to ask if there was something I could do to help. He basically waved me away and went back to his phone and the furnace. I was really upset after hearing these exchanges. I was wondering if it wasn’t time for me to change my HVAC company. As soon as the HvAC technician left my house, I was on the phone. I called the HVAC company to let them know about the attitude of the man they had sent to my house. They said they would deal with him and I hung up. I don’t think I will trust them anymore if they keep this man in their employ. I think I will be looking for a new HVAC company to do all of my furnace and air conditioning work, regardless of how they deal with this problem.
